Frequently Asked Questions

Practical Guidance for Your Starlight Retreat

This FAQ is designed to answer the most important questions guests have before attending a Starlight retreat. Our intention is to be clear, honest and supportive, so you can arrive feeling informed and at ease.

If your question isn’t listed here, you’re welcome to reach out.

The fundamental purpose of a Starlight retreat is to create a safe, natural sanctuary where you can:

  • Deeply unwind from chronic stress and mental overload

  • Reconnect with your own inner wisdom and sense of purpose

  • Restore balance across mind, body, emotions and energy

  • Learn practical tools you can take home to support your everyday wellbeing

We aim for guests to leave feeling calmer, clearer, more grounded and more resourced from within, not just temporarily relaxed.

No. Starlight retreats and therapies are complementary, not clinical. We do not:

  • Diagnose medical conditions

  • Offer psychiatric treatment or crisis intervention

  • Provide emergency medical care

  • Promise to cure any condition

We support healing and growth, but we are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric care. Guests remain responsible for their own treatment and are encouraged to seek professional support where needed.

Our retreats are suitable for adults (18+) who:

  • Are experiencing stress, overwhelm or burnout

  • Feel stuck or disconnected from themselves

  • Seek emotional clarity or spiritual reconnection

  • Want to explore natural, East–West approaches to healing in a grounded way

We are not suitable for those currently in:

  • Active psychiatric crisis

  • Immediate medical emergency

  • Situations requiring detox from substances

We may ask for a confidential health and wellbeing form before attendance to ensure safety.

  • Multi-day retreat arrivals: from around 15:00 before Day 1

  • Departures: typically by 16:00 on the final day

  • 1-day retreats: usually 10:00–17:00

Exact timings are confirmed in your pre-retreat information email.

The more you unplug, the more you’ll receive from the experience.
